Grifter's Prophecy

Remember the half-governor and full-grifter Alaska Palin?  You should, she's trying to be relevant again, and last week, a sighting outside a damp place was in the news:

Going Rogue: Part Deux

Many notable politicians were missing at the recently concluded RNC. George the Younger, Barack Obama — although he was immortalized by an empty chair, Rick "Sperm Feces" Santorum... and yes the Palins. Both Alaska Palin and Minnesota Palin were not put on stage. Not by accident, Romney did not want two more clueless wingnuts screwing up things any more than they could avoid.

Well, the Clinton home run at the DNC, followed by a series of serious missteps by Mitt has left the campaign reeling, and in serious danger of free falling into irrelevance.

So naturally some want to change course. A reboot. One such advocate is Paul Ryan, who wants to be "unleashed", say campaign insiders. Now remember that Ryan lied about his marathon time, and his body fat percentage. Inconsequential trivia, but one has to wonder why would you go out of your way to lie about something when you do not even need to mention it. It is eerily similar to Zsa Zsa Gabor lying about her age by altering her birth date on her driver's license.

With a sharpie.

I guess being born in 1934 1921 instead of 1930 1917 would have put her in play as a babe!

Alaska Palin Auditions for the DNC

Recently, Mitt realized that his campaign needs some serious clowns instead of ones rejected by the circus like Donald Trump, Alaska Palin, Minnesota Palin and Newt. So he had his henchmen draw up the speaker schedule at the RNC, and guess what?

No Alaska Palin!

So the grifter is left with no one to feed her word salads. FOX "News" does not quite get the ratings with her as they once did, and she no longer has a reality show. Bristol and Todd filled up the Palin quota, and nothing kills like over-exposure. Just ask the Kardashians.

What's a GILF to do to regain the "edge"?

Obama's worst nightmare!

Ever notice how this unique titleholder changes every few months? No?

Well, let me refresh your memory, starting in 2008.

First it was John GET-OFF-MY-LAWN McCain.

Till he picked the GILF, and Alaska Palin was unleashed on the country. People forgot about Bush very quickly. Just like she forgot "tax cuts" was an important thing to throw into her word salad.

Bain attacks are not working

Psyche!

You know the Obama campaign's Bain attacks on Romney are working when

A. Rush Limbaugh conjures up a dumb ass conspiracy that the villain in the new Batman movie is Bane, a homophone of Bain (get it?), which is, as any Rush Listener can see, clear sign that Hollywood is in the bag for Obama.
B. The ilk of the Palins proclaim that not only will this not work, it'll backfire on Obama and then...
C. Unnamed and named Republican strategists whine that Bain is just like Swiftboating.
D. Polls indicate that the Bain attacks are effective in the swing states.
E. All of the above.

Answer: E.

Seriously how bad is the Romney campaign when it will buckle to this Swiftboating by Obama that he cannot make his case against a President under whom unemployment has remained staggeringly high, has to resort to lying about "they did not build that" and is losing ground with these Bain attacks.

Is Biden a GOP puppet master?

It certainly seems that way. How else do you explain the steady stream of gaffes from Team Romney, like this one: McCain: Palin was 'better candidate' than Romney?

Seriously? If Alaska Palin was better than Mitt Willard, shouldn't she be the nominee? Otherwise, it'd appear that in the last four years she has taken a dive (she has, but that is not the point) or that Mitt has somehow gotten better (he hasn't).

Or this one from Ed Gillespie (could very well have been Ed Rollins): RETROACTIVELY RETIRED

Can't Biden sue for patent infringement? I mean this is the guy who was trying to figure out how his parents, er, did it, in a dingy little apartment with, like, many people around.

Yes, he actually said that out loud!

The continuing stupidity of Minnesota Palin

It is truly mind boggling. That the media even gives her the time of day to spew BS like this:

I think the most obvious is that no president has ever revealed the methodologies we use, particularly in the case of bin Laden two week ago, when he was revealing even more of our national security secrets. Then we find out David Axelrod is in the White House on what they call “Terror Tuesdays,” in which they choose who they are going to kill today from the terrorist list. This is absolutely shocking, and here is the president beating his chest and trying to take advantage of that by going to The New York Times. Plus, the fact that we learn the president has been ordering censoring of government documents. He’s been purging the FBI files of anything that could be considered anti-Islamic. These decisions aren’t making us safer; they’re making us more vulnerable, and I am very concerned.

Linda Tripp inspired someone

Remember Linda Tripp?  The conscientious woman who semi-illegally taped conversations with Monica Lewinsky to bring down a President, but failed?

No?

Let me jar your memory:

Sorry, but you asked for it.  Well, it turns out that she has not been forgotten, and that venerable bottomless pit of nothingness famous for running marathons of either "Golden Girls" or immortal classics wannabes such
as "The Boy She Met Online" (starring Alexandra Paul), yes, I am talking about Lifetime.

They have done it!

They have revived her with a jolt of enhanced jarring.

She is the central theme of a new reality-based show starring the First Family of Dysfunction from Alaska, the Palins.

Sarah Palin & Rick Perry: Separated at Birth?

Rick Perry continues to channel Sarah Palin at the debates without the winky-ness and without the charisma but with her level of erudition and education.

It is wonderful to watch the Republicans continue to meltdown - except the part where Newt Gingrich might possibly be the only one left with enough gravitas to carry the nomination.

Perhaps the GOP could put all the monkeys back in the barrel and give it another shake before the holidays are over. It probably isn't a fair way to play the game but I'm starting to feel sorry for the pathetics.

Shakespearean irony

It amazes me that the candidates so often get to escape actually answering the question. They get to spin and pivot and go off onto their sound bites that they want in the 10 seconds that they have to make a point, I think the hosts need to kind of dig a little bit more and come back to that candidate and say, No, that's not what I asked you. Here's what I asked you. Please answer it...
This Alaska Palin moment in hypocrisy in oblivion was brought to you courtesy of the PuffHo. Had she watched the debate, she'd have noticed this:

ANDERSON COOPER: Then let me ask the question of Governor Perry. Governor Perry, the 14th Amendment allows anybody. A child of illegal immigrants who is born here is automatically an American citizen. Should that change?

TEXAS GOV. RICK PERRY: Well, let me address Herman's issue that he just talked about.

COOPER: Actually, I'd rather you answer that question.

PERRY: I understand that. You get to ask the questions, I get to answer like I want to.

Palin backs Palin

Alaska Palin is said to have thought of Africa as a country.

Minnesota Palin finally backed her up in the Nevada GOP debate on October 18, 2011:
Now with the president, he put us in Libya. He is now putting us in Africa. We already were stretched too thin, and he put our special operations forces in Africa.
Yes, "libruls" should be scared of them. Because there are wingnuts who still prefer them to anyone else.

It came from the bottom of the deck

Well, nothing seems to be clicking for my presumptive winner of the Republican Tea Party primaries, Rick Perry. It all started when I declared him our 45th president, but this is not about me. Poll after poll, debate after fumbled debate, Perry is racing to the bottom of the sewer with the other True Christist in the field, Minnesota Palin.

He already played the Mormon card, and since no one has actually cast a ballot yet, the polls are holding for Mittney. In fact so well for him, and conversely so poorly for Perry that a black man is siphoning off his supporters. Mittney is staying afloat rather well.

Imagine that, Herb Cain is actually leading the polls with his Sim City inspired 9-9-9 pizza deal! The same Herb Cain, who is black, supported the Fed that Perry and the Tea Party oppose, is black, does not want to repeal the DADT repeal, is black, and one who won't end the wars, is ahead of Perry.

Herb Cain also happens to be black.

Here he was, all but anointed King, but Perry finds himself in a deep hole, especially with the primaries moving up.

Would he lead from the front like a commander-in-chief-not-a-debater-in-chief does?

Bristol is the adult here

Have to say it. Except for one lapse where she went homophobic, she was reasonable in asking for one example:

Of course, it is quite likely that the whole thing was a plant. Imagine Bristol riding the bull, disoriented, still being able to pinpoint the guy who shouted obscenities but was not facing her when she walked up behind him, and not facing him when he hurled those epithets.

All of this in a West Hollywood rodeo, with a film crew in tow.  Riiiight!

You also don't insult someone by asking them if they are a faggot homosexual. "Faggot" of course, would have been detrimental to her, er, image. Are you a homo? might have worked, but no, she called him a homosexual.  What's more the paid actor outraged man accepted that insult, and went on about reciting his script.

Most would simply walk away, or let handlers handle it. By not walking away, and not being like, well, Alaska Palin, she showed maturity.

Well, rehearsed maturity anyway.

Poorly acted.

But FOX "News" and the Tea baggers just got a hard-on.

Update:  Appears more and more like it was a setup

Selective Denial

Just when you think the media overexposure of Alaska Palin would ebb into obscurity, another memoir gets produced.  'The Rogue:<something>' by Joe McGinniss just hit the shelves and has details on some salacious affairs of hers.

Of course, the SheJesus of Wasilla was a little slow quick to issue a general denial.

Lies, lies, they are all lies, says The Palin Camp.

Tawd, the First Seccesionist-in-Chief Dude was incensed. Hard to say at whom, although for now the anger seems to be directed at Joe.
This is a man who has been relentlessly stalking my family to the point of moving in right next door to us to harass us and spy on us to satisfy his creepy obsession with my wife, his book is full of disgusting lies, innuendo and smears. Even The New York Times called this book `dated, petty,' and that it `chases caustic, unsubstantiated gossip.
See? Even The New York Times says it is dated, petty. But they don't say it is all lies, Tawd. That is telling.
