Minnesota Palin is a clueless bigot!

What, me stupid?
Recently, the wingnut from Minnesota did her best imitation of a modern day McCarthy in pronouncing that the federal government was being infiltrated at "the highest levels" (I thought that we already had a Kenyan muslin as POTUS, but anyhoo,) and whom did she cite as an example?

“I am particularly interested in exactly how, given what we know from the international media about Ms. Abedin’s documented family connections with the extremist Muslim Brotherhood, she was able to avoid being disqualified for a security clearance,”

The Ms. Abedin is of course, Huma Abedin, a Muslim of Pakistani descent and the wife of the disgraced Anthony Weiner, former congressman from NY who sexted and was stupid enough to resign because Breitbart re-tweeted his erection tweet.

Weiner is Jewish, incidentally.

So let's get this connect-a-dot straight, without Beck's blackboard.

Is Biden a GOP puppet master?

It certainly seems that way. How else do you explain the steady stream of gaffes from Team Romney, like this one: McCain: Palin was 'better candidate' than Romney?

Seriously? If Alaska Palin was better than Mitt Willard, shouldn't she be the nominee? Otherwise, it'd appear that in the last four years she has taken a dive (she has, but that is not the point) or that Mitt has somehow gotten better (he hasn't).

Or this one from Ed Gillespie (could very well have been Ed Rollins): RETROACTIVELY RETIRED

Can't Biden sue for patent infringement? I mean this is the guy who was trying to figure out how his parents, er, did it, in a dingy little apartment with, like, many people around.

Yes, he actually said that out loud!

Yeah, but what about Newt?

Americans apparently have nothing better to do. Well, at least compared to the pollsters who had nothing better to ask in these times.

"Hey, goobers, Nobama or the Mormon, who'll uphold the Second Amendment and guard our borders against ET betterer?"

But that is not what gets my goat. What really gets me is that they did not even bother to include the wannabe President of Space.

Yes, I am talking about The Newt. He had the vision to build a moon base, coz, then we could repel aliens who have the magical technology to travel here from outside this solar system but are powerless against seventeen people with space suits and the American flag, on the moon.

Yeah, that's the price Americans will pay for not electing The Newt.

PRESIDENT OF SPACE, FOREVER!

We don't need no critical thinking...

From the dossier called 2012 Platform of the Republican Party of Texas (Word version | PDF version) at http://convention.texasgop.org/
Knowledge-Based Education – We oppose the teaching of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) (values clarification), critical thinking skills and similar programs that are simply a relabeling of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) (mastery learning) which focus on behavior modification and have the purpose of challenging the student’s fixed beliefs and undermining parental authority

(Emphasis mine)

Hey, Texas Republicans, leave them kids alone!

The continuing stupidity of Minnesota Palin

It is truly mind boggling. That the media even gives her the time of day to spew BS like this:

I think the most obvious is that no president has ever revealed the methodologies we use, particularly in the case of bin Laden two week ago, when he was revealing even more of our national security secrets. Then we find out David Axelrod is in the White House on what they call “Terror Tuesdays,” in which they choose who they are going to kill today from the terrorist list. This is absolutely shocking, and here is the president beating his chest and trying to take advantage of that by going to The New York Times. Plus, the fact that we learn the president has been ordering censoring of government documents. He’s been purging the FBI files of anything that could be considered anti-Islamic. These decisions aren’t making us safer; they’re making us more vulnerable, and I am very concerned.

Linda Tripp inspired someone

Remember Linda Tripp?  The conscientious woman who semi-illegally taped conversations with Monica Lewinsky to bring down a President, but failed?

No?

Let me jar your memory:

Sorry, but you asked for it.  Well, it turns out that she has not been forgotten, and that venerable bottomless pit of nothingness famous for running marathons of either "Golden Girls" or immortal classics wannabes such
as "The Boy She Met Online" (starring Alexandra Paul), yes, I am talking about Lifetime.

They have done it!

They have revived her with a jolt of enhanced jarring.

She is the central theme of a new reality-based show starring the First Family of Dysfunction from Alaska, the Palins.

Got little else to do, so...

I decided to take a guess at which was a worse movie, The Undefeated or Kazaam.

Given that I was not desperate enough to watch either, I'll have to go by the Box Office receipts.  Again, no contest.

Seriously, Kazaam cleared a hundred bucks? Not as shocking as the Palin hagiography clearing fifty!

UPDATE: At least one objective source called the latter an unexpected success!

Big Government waste, Mittney style

Now, y'all remember that Mittney wants to repeal Obamacare on his first day in the Oval office.  Set aside the unconstitutional absurdity (or the Bachmannesque absurdity) of a fantasy overreach of the executive branch in unilaterally repealing an act of Congress, and focus on what this means.

A Mittney spokesorifice emitted this:
"Fixing our health care system means making sure that every American, regardless of their health care needs, can find quality, affordable coverage. That is why Governor Romney supports reforms to protect those with pre-existing conditions from being denied access to a health plan while they have continuous coverage. And for those purchasing insurance for the first time, he supports reforms that empower states to make high risk pools more accessible by using cost reducing methods like risk adjustment and reinsurance. Beginning on his first day in office, Governor Romney is committed to working with Congress to enact polices like these that protect Americans’ access to the care they need."
So Mittney is going to dismantle Obamacare which provides protections for those with pre-existing conditions from being dropped by insurance companies, and he is then going to work with Congress to  protect "those with pre-existing conditions from being denied access to a health plan while they have continuous coverage"

We'll get to what this means in a second, but how is Mittney going to do this?

He will "empower states to make high risk pools more accessible by using cost reducing methods like risk adjustment and reinsurance".

Right, with bullshit.

So what does this mean?  It means that Mittney thinks nothing of dismantling legislation that already does what he purportedly wants, and replacing it with identical legislation.

Talk about governmental waste. If government should not be wasting time interfering with things like healthcare, it should not be spending time or money undoing it and then redoing exactly the same thing!

Oh yeah, that, and bullshit.  Don't forget that bullshit he plans to use to make this happen."...risk adjustment and reinsurance." Then again, should we expect anything different from a guy who wants to replace healthcare with tax cuts for the wealthy?

Seriously, Obama is a major disappointment, does not deserve a second term, but Mittney might make Bush look like a benevolent genius.

North Carolina is filled with idiots!

I had to read this report twice, and then some. On different days. At different times. Drunk. Sober.

Just to be sure that I was reading it correctly.
Lack of voter understanding about how far reaching the amendment is continues to be the biggest obstacle for those hoping to defeat it.
OK, that figures. South Carolina is, after all, just too close.

So what's the misunderstanding all about?  Gay people want to get married like straight people, and do you think they should be allowed.
55% of voters in the state support some form of legal recognition for gay couples in the form of either marriage or civil unions to only 41% completely opposed
Great! The LGBT community would be pleased to hea.. wait, WHAT?
But at the same time 55% of voters plan to support the amendment that would prohibit any legal recognition for same sex couples while only 41% are opposed.
WTF?
And with voters who admit they don't actually know what the amendment does, 26% of the electorate, it leads by a 64-28 margin.
Aw, fuck it, that is just really idiotic.

Jostling for the limelight

Lisa Irwin is a 10-month-old toddler that has gone missing for days. As is quite the rage these days, the mainstream media showers 24/7 coverage, because, well, Lisa is a cute kid.

And what do the ones in charge of recovering the kid, do?

Make themselves available for photo-ops.
More than a dozen investigators and firefighters crowded around an opening created in the old wooden deck to access the well. A yellow and red tripod was set up to lower firefighters into the well. But several hours later, the well had been drained and nothing was found.
This was the latest attempt to make progress in a case that has baffled investigators and left them grasping for new ideas.
"It's an abandoned house, there's a well under the deck. We're searching it because it's the right thing to do," Capt. Steve Young told ABCNews.com today as police and firefighters dismantled part of the house's deck in order to access the well.
Yes, it is the right thing to do. A dozen investigators and firefighters. Really? You need that many to look into a well?
This search came a few hours after a family member said Lisa's mother, Deborah Bradley, is preparing to be charged in connection with her baby's disappearance. The family member, Ashley Irwin, said the family thinks Bradley's arrest is "inevitable."
I guess we'll start seeing a lot more than Nancy Grace's the boob's nipple on the TEEVEE.

And I honestly cannot say which is worse.

Someone call 9-9-9. Stat.

OK, the guy aspiring to be the first second black President is trying to win the nomination of the party that is trying to get the first one out of the White House because, well, he is black. Does not go with the decor, apparently.

Herman "I do not like to read" Cain has won the Florida straw poll.

Wow!

Wait, is that something like Minnesota Palin winning the Iowa straw poll?

Not exactly, this one's less meaningful. Look, even when the messiah beat old man McCain and his three-ring circus with Alaska Palin and Joe the not Plumber, he did so in the face a devastated economy, and barely managed an eight point margin. Well OK, that is significant, but that was a nation-wide election, which means non-tea-baggers voted as well. And yet, the margin was a skimpy eight points.

So, you really think that a 37-14 edge for a black man in a tea-bagger-only poll is even meaningful? How about if I tell you that the Mormon Huntsman Romney did not even run and fared as well as Perry?

Thought so.

Cain disagrees:
This is a sign of our growing momentum and my candidacy that cannot be ignored
Just you watch, Herman.

Bristol is the adult here

Have to say it. Except for one lapse where she went homophobic, she was reasonable in asking for one example:

Of course, it is quite likely that the whole thing was a plant. Imagine Bristol riding the bull, disoriented, still being able to pinpoint the guy who shouted obscenities but was not facing her when she walked up behind him, and not facing him when he hurled those epithets.

All of this in a West Hollywood rodeo, with a film crew in tow.  Riiiight!

You also don't insult someone by asking them if they are a faggot homosexual. "Faggot" of course, would have been detrimental to her, er, image. Are you a homo? might have worked, but no, she called him a homosexual.  What's more the paid actor outraged man accepted that insult, and went on about reciting his script.

Most would simply walk away, or let handlers handle it. By not walking away, and not being like, well, Alaska Palin, she showed maturity.

Well, rehearsed maturity anyway.

Poorly acted.

But FOX "News" and the Tea baggers just got a hard-on.

Update:  Appears more and more like it was a setup

Update on Obama's failed jobs bill

Even before he addressed a joint session of Congress when Boehner finally let him, I had announced his plan to be a failure. At least twice. And once more after his speech.

What I said was that the stimulus was too small and misdirected, and that regardless of the size, the Republican Tea Party will block it. They'll block it to make Obama lose.

That is precisely what is happening. Boehner has flat-out refused to consider it.

When you show a willingness to cave in, because you do not want the hostages killed, the hostage takers will take hostages every chance they get. Again, and again.

Now Obama is sinking in the polls as well. Not just generally, but on this specific jobs bill. As expected, the Democrats will still vote for him, the Republican Tea Party will not, and the Independents no longer see him capable of solving the unemployment issue since he cannot get any legislation passed.

Predictably, Obama is on his campaign tour, imploring the people to urge Congress to pass his bill. Now remember, this is the same Congress that knows that its approval ratings are in the toilet. But legislators simply do not care, for good reasons.

So what's next?

Obama will cave in and settle for a piece-meal bill. Which obviously will not be effective. But what will get passed would aid corporations and the rich even more. The party to get credit for it will be the Republican Tea Party. They'll be viewed by corporate donors as someone who can get things done, their way. And because the Democrats are gutless, they will not resist when the bill gets denounced as ObamaNoJobsSpending effort.

Couple this with innovative and legal gerrymandering, the Cave-In-Chief is history next November.

Checkmate!

Obama's $300 billion jobs plan? DOA

The PuffHo reports that Obama is planning to unveil a $300 billion jobs' stimulus.

More than half of it is a payroll tax cuts/credits (cuts into Social Security revenues) and an extension of unemployment benefits. Rest is for incentives to businesses to hire, and for infrastructure.

It is way too small to make a dent in the unemployment figures.

But that isn't even its biggest problem. The Tea Bagging Republicans will immediately oppose it. Negotiations will continue for weeks if not months, and Obama will cave in. What will pass is a much smaller package, which will look worse for having no effect at all, and taking too long. The Tea baggers will then insist that Obama was wrong, again, and therefore we have wasted more of our kids' future.

They'd be right.

Minnesota Palin is Done!

Ed Rollins whose ego is slightly bigger than Alaska Palin's—justifiably so since he actually got someone elected—has quit on Minnesota Palin.

'Planned restructuring strategy' is what the campaign called it. Yup, that too was written by Ed Rollins when he quit. Apparently he only just found out that he cannot work that many long hours, and that this is how he had always planned, and will still help the airhead, etc. Sometimes people do not realize that they'll turn 69 till, well, they are 68 years old.

All he managed was get Minnesota Palin to pay 5,000 people to visit her petting zoo + chairs + Randy Travis tent-o-palooza at the Iowa straw poll, and even then he could only get some 81% of them to vote for her.

Think about it, you lose 20 percent of the people you are paying to cast a vote for you in a meaningless straw poll! It's as if Mr. Minnesota Palin were to announce that she needs gay therapy, because of that submissive thing.

Here's Rollins's ringing endorsement:
The Perry-Romney race is now the story, with us the third candidate.
So she is now third after a Tea bagging inquisition led by Jim DeMint today where the front-runner did not even show up.

What's the Republican world coming to when the most rabid God+guns+abortion+gays anti-science position is no longer sufficient?

Oh, did I mention that Perry's #45 jerseys are being printed, as we speak?

Sep 3, 2011

Rick Perry will be #45

There, I formally announced it. Rick Perry of Texas will be the next President of the US. Numero 45.

I do not say this because he has never lost an election.

I do not say this because he has managed to make people forget that he is an opportunist who once campaigned for Al Gore in his bid to the White House.

I do not say this because he is now, officially, leading the polls in the Republican primaries.

All that was expected, and predicting it beforehand would have been rather easy. Like extracting an impossible concession from Obama.

And the lamestream media does not have a clue. They are busy trying to establish how bad he was, executing juveniles and the mentally handicapped, how his Texas miracle was really a farce, and he is leaving the state in a $27 billion dollar deficit, and how he was 'liberal' in his leanings, how he actually sides with illegal immigration, how he is despised by the GOP establishment, Karl Rove, and others of the Illuminati, how the Tea baggers would see through his facade and his faux conservative credentials, and prefer Minnesota Palin, etc.

None of that is going to matter.

We Shall Surrender!

Nancy Pelosi says:
Dems Will Be Forceful On Super Committee But Won't Draw 'Lines In The Sand'

Yes Nancy, what that means is that you'll be upset, call the GOP names, and then bend over and accept what they dish you.
Then you'll pay them for services rendered.

Lame ducks

Somebody wrote this for Alaska Palin on her website yesterday:
Now the President is outraged because the GOP House leadership called his bluff and ended discussions with him because they deemed him an obstruction to any real solution to the debt crisis.
He has been deemed a lame duck president. And he is angry now because he is being treated as such.

In July, 2009, someone read this while announcing her resignation:
And so as I thought about this announcement that I wouldn't run for re-election and what it means for Alaska, I thought about how much fun some governors have as lame ducks... travel around the state, to the Lower 48 (maybe), overseas on international trade - as so many politicians do. And then I thought - that's what's wrong - many just accept that lame duck status, hit the road, draw the paycheck, and "milk it". I'm not putting Alaska through that - I promised efficiencies and effectiveness! ? That's not how I am wired. I am not wired to operate under the same old "politics as usual." I promised that four years ago - and I meant it.
It's not what is best for Alaska.

The Quitter's movie isn't doing much better. 63% drop from last weekend. A whopping 100K total at the box office. Total.

The Fucking Idiot and the Asshole

While Herman Cain is busy floating his immigration reform plan centered on building a moat filled with alligators, and Minnesota Palin is busy signing The Pledge which has embarrassed its authors so much that they withdrew the slavery reference to marriage, Alaska Palin is busy promoting her movie The Undefeated.

Strange, considering she ran on the McCain-Palin 2008 ticket, and mysteriously isn't in the White House.

But still, you got to admire her spirit and wishful thinking. She inspires people. She's a Republican. She scares liberals. Or so we're told. That's all that matters. One such person she has inspired is Peter Singleton.

Who, you ask?

He is a fucking idiot who moved from California to Iowa and has been running a PALIN 2012 campaign for about eight months now. At significant personal expense, it'd seem.

But Alaska Palin is not running, you say? Well not yet, says she, but she has not ruled it out.

So, in dire economic times, the one who has basically never finished anything, and has quit just about everything (being mayor, being governor, for two) is busy promoting a documentary which is a contradiction with reality. This, after she quit on her famous, patriotic bus tour.

Well, she's an asshole for not telling the fucking idiot that he might be wasting his time and money. I am not sure whether to be happy that a fool is about to be parted with his money, or sad that a fucking idiot is being fleeced by an asshole.

I'll go with being happy, since there is still a chance that other fucking idiots will join in and finally get disillusioned with the SheJesus of Wasilla. Or make some money, perhaps.

A Triumph for Socialism

Hmm, the first slam won by a woman from a communist country in a tournament not featuring the Williams sisters, a fit Kim Clijsters or Justin Henin is indeed a clear demonstration of superiority of a political ideology.

In other news, a Vegas patron demonstrates the superiority of putting it all on red as opposed to betting it on black.

Hey wait a minute, Kvitova of the Czech Republic won Wimbledon. Does this mean that the era of socialism is already over? Or, maybe you only have to belong to a socialistic regime at some point in your history. Yeah, that must be it.
