Blood Simple

Well, an Arkansas congressman has had it! No not just with the Kenyan Muslins, but the Iranians.

[Out of his] Rep. Tom Cotton (R- Picking Mind) has proposed new legislation to deal with those to whom St. Reagan sold arms just a generation ago.
He has proposed a 'Corruption Of Blood' Bill that will punish any person who violates U.S. sanctions against Iran, levying sentences of up to 20 years in prison.

Or happens to be a family member including "spouse and any relative to the third degree,...parents, children, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, grandparents, great grandparents, grand-kids, great grand-kids”

What about due process, Rep. Cotton? Because the CON-STI-2-SHUN says

ARTICLE III, SECTION 3, CLAUSE 2

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

"There would be no investigation, if the prime malefactor of the family is identified as on the list for sanctions, then everyone within their family would automatically come within the sanctions regime as well. It'd be very hard to demonstrate and investigate to conclusive proof."

Yeah, proof is hard to find, so let's go with protecting FREEDUMBS instead.

Cotton is the same fucking idiot who made the 'except for 9/11' argument.
