My faith in humanity is restored!

I'm basically shocked and pleasantly surprised here. Chief Justice Roberts joined the more liberal members of the SCOTUS in upholding Obamacare. This comes as a huge shock to me, actually. However, that's because I'm a cynic apparently.

SCOTUS Decision on Reuters

Obamacare's central pillar (requiring people to purchase health coverage or pay a tax) was declared to be constitutional.

I'd write more here, but I'm frankly speechless.

This is John Roberts showing that he has a sense os shame and would not have wanted to go down as the Chief Justice who framed two huge decisions 5-4 violating hundred+ years of precedence.

Scalia needs to resign, and run for a Senatorial seat. He'd win.

You're absolutely right, Scalia has absolutely no interest (or credibility) in the SC. My respect for Roberts just went up a tiny fraction too, though hehehe.
