The other Mormon, and possibly the most decent human being left among the GOP presidential hopefuls (yes, tough competition, that) tweeted this:
To be clear. I believe in evolution and trust scientists on global warming. Call me crazy.
That does not have a prayer against the staunchly anti-science Rick Perry, who earlier laid his hands on a kid to tell him that evolution does not hold a candle to creationism. I know, "laying hands on a kid", "creationism" usually has worse connotations, and this one wasn't all that far off when asked why he did not believe in science.
Perry bloviated:
You're smart enough to figure out which is right
Pretty sure the kid is, or will be. Unless of course, Perry's prayers are answered.
