Ode to Senator Diane Feinstein by Rachel Maddow

On Thursday, March 14, 2013 after discussion between Senator Diane Feinstein and TeaBagger Ted Cruz on the subject of weapons of mass destruction, that is, the right to murder fellow Americans with military-style assault weapons using multiple 30-round clips so you can take out more than two dozen children in less than five minutes because it is your right, a story was aired by Rachel Maddow.

[I found it poetic.]

Let the Record Show, Ms Maddow says, that:

You can be a United States Senator for 21 years
You can be 79 years old
You can be the
Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and one of the
Most recognizable and
Most widely respected veteran public servants in

Your nation, but if

You are female, while

You are also all of those other things

men who

You defeat in Argument will still  Respond to

You by calling

You hysterical and telling

You to calm down

they will patronize

You, and say

they ... Admire

Your passion, Sweetie, but

they only deal in facts, not

Your silly girly strong feelings.

It is inescapable...
You can set your watch by it.

It is inescapable.

You can set your watch by it.

Nicely done. It was one of the few times I actually waited to see what Maddow would say. Because this felt like sincere disgust and not repeated frustration
