Every once in a while I am amazed how out of touch some people are. Following Mitt's 47% remarks, there was a flurry of snark ostensibly directed at these moochers.
Apparently a lot of these moochers are not self-aware, in that they do not know that they belong to this "moocher class" they so readily mock. Yup, there is a large number of people who do not realize that they do not pay any income taxes. Only 22% think that they belong to this 47% category.
Not surprising, considering some 19% think they belong to the richest 1% (This factoid was part of Time-CNN survey in 2000 and is disputed by at least a couple of commentators).
What I want to know is how many of the remainder of the first group think that they belong to the second.
