Joking about Perry's speech on Tuesday's "Daily Show," Stewart concluded, "Best-case scenario: That dude's hammered. Worst case scenario: That's Perry sober, and every time we've seen him previously, he's been hammered."
With a laugh, Perry also shot down comedian Jon Stewart’s assertion that he was drunk at the time (Politico, November 2, 2011).
That leaves the worst-case scenario: when he's hammered, Rick Perry looks less like he's flirting for the manita quebrada vote , or perhaps less like a five-year old.
