Polls show that disapproval of the Tea Party is climbing. In April 2010, a New York Times/CBS News survey found that 18 percent of Americans had an unfavorable opinion of it, 21 percent had a favorable opinion and 46 percent had not heard enough. Now, 14 months later, Tea Party supporters have slipped to 20 percent, while their opponents have more than doubled, to 40 percent.
YES! T baggery is getting its just deserts.
But that is not the gem in that poll. This is:
It is even less popular than much maligned groups like “atheists” and “Muslims.” Interestingly, one group that approaches it in unpopularity is the Christian Right.
You have to be really rotten to sink in popular opinion below atheists. So this calls for some celebration. But then I realize that it is a pretty sad state of affairs when atheists are even as nearly hated as these bigots.

What's even sadder is that popular opinion is so often ignorant.
However, maybe, just maybe, people are finally waking up to the lunacy?
And speaking of lunacy, my son just showed me recent vids on the Repug debates and the recent Straw Poll.
Could it be more obvious that the media is desperately trying to ignore Ron Paul's rather obvious popularity?
Not that I agree with everything Ron Paul says but he's smart and sane.
Which is more than I can say for the others who while smart are quite insane.
My Loon Meter broke when I was watching them! Lol.
