Weather Interlude

The sky is incredible right now, a flat-matte slate blue-gray with wind. The light was so strange over the mountains this evening I thought the sun was in the east, back-lighting them. There was a thin fog or low cloud over the peaks such that the ridges appeared in layers, densities of dark mountain colors like green and brown and gray.
